Spotify has launched a new Miniplayer feature for PC users, which allows for faster access to music playback while working. The feature resembles floating apps and allows for controlling audio playback, changing tracks, selecting playlists, and adjusting volume. It is currently only available to paid premium subscribers. Users can access the Miniplayer by clicking on a box in the bottom right corner of the app. The resizable feature can function in a square aspect ratio, ideal for playing videos on Spotify. This feature may eliminate the need for third-party apps and is similar to Apple Music’s MiniPlayer for macOS and Windows.

In fact, the Miniplayer feature on PC has been widely requested by Spotify users, but the company is still reluctant to provide this feature.
Now Spotify users on PC can smile when they see this feature present. This feature will allow users to have faster access to music playback while doing other focused work.

Unfortunately, this feature is only available to users who participate in the paid premium subscription program, according to reports from Engadget.
If you’ve already subscribed to a premium account, you can open Spotify Desktop Miniplayer by simply clicking the box on the bottom right side of the app, to the right of the playback controls.
After clicking on the option, Spotify Desktop Miniplayer will appear next to the base application
The miniplayer is resizable and can function in a square aspect ratio. This is ideal for playing videos on Spotify.
On the other hand, this feature will potentially eliminate the need for third-party applications, such as Alfred Spotify Mini Player, Lofi Spotify Mini Player, and SpotMenu to fulfill what users need.
Meanwhile, Spotify competitor Apple Music has long had a MiniPlayer equivalent for macOS and Windows.
